Join Bishop Earl K. Fernandes and the ODU community as we commemorate the beatification of Catholic philosopher and archbishop Fulton J. Sheen and remember his many visits to our campus. Our celebration includes:
- Welcome by ODU President Dr. Shonna Riedlinger
- Unveiling of a commemorative plaque
- Blessing of the plaque by Bishop Fernandes
- A short presentation on Blessed Fulton Sheen’s longtime friendship with ODU
