J.O.I.N. provides material needs for low-income families in Franklin County and functions under Catholic Charities of the Catholic Diocese of Columbus.
The Joint Organization for Inner-City Needs was blessed in 2007 to move to its current facility at 578 East Main Street. The current facility provides increased square footage, larger restroom facilities, a comfortable waiting area.
J.O.I.N. responds to calls from community organizations also serving less fortunate neighbors: men, women and children.
- J.O.I.N. neighbors are often employed
- J.O.I.N. neighbors may receive or are awaiting government assistance.
- Some neighbors are transient.
- Others are children and parents whose resources have been depleted.
- Often, they have nowhere else to turn.
