Social Concerns

We address issues in light of Catholic Social Teaching

Human life & dignity, poverty, global solidarity, religious liberty, immigration, criminal justice, environment, and disaster response to name a few.

The Office for Social Concerns serves as a central diocesan resource for social justice education and advocacy. We are the local liaison to state and national programs of the U.S. Catholic Bishops and responsible for the local implementation of those programs within the diocese.
