How You Can Volunteer and Provide Support
More than 1,200 people sleep in homeless shelters in Columbus and Franklin County on any given night, while an estimated 600 or more are on the streets. Community Shelter Board is leading a battle to slow the spread of COVID-19 among people experiencing homelessness. These efforts including opening multiple new facilities – some to achieve social distancing in crowded homeless shelters, and other facilities for isolation and quarantine of those already infected with the virus. You can’t stay home if you don’t have a home. Please join the fight to save the lives of those most vulnerable in our community. Gather supplies. Make food boxes. learn more.
