I am delighted to learn of the appointment of Father David Bonnar from the Diocese of Pittsburgh as Bishop of Youngstown. Without a doubt, this appointment is a great gift to the faithful of the Diocese of Youngstown; his faith, energy, and leadership will no doubt be a blessing to his Diocese and his brother bishops here in Ohio, and I look forward to working with him in the future. We happily extend our congratulations and prayers as he embarks on his new ministry.
